The car was right in front of them; the only distance that stopped them was a question with nobody there to answer it.

Why the printed code survives

• The code encodes the car’s immutable id, not its link — so renaming the car or changing its URL never voids a sticker that is already on glass
• A car that sold or was hidden: its printed code dead-ends, never redirecting the scanner to a different car or leaking a withdrawn page
• The code opens your site directly — not a third-party short link
• The on-screen preview, the PNG file and the print card are all drawn from one geometry — so what you see is what gets printed
• Your mark enters the centre at its true proportions, so a wide logo is never stretched to fill a square
• The mark’s area is capped in advance at what error correction can rebuild — no elegant code that a scanner refuses
• The quiet zone never drops below the specification’s minimum, and no module is dropped or shrunk until neighbours separate
• Dark on light, always — the reverse confuses many scanners, so it is simply not offered
